Influence of Primary Suppression Resistance of Voltage Transformer on Active Voltage Arc Suppression and Its Solution
In 10 kV distribution network, most of the busbar voltage transformers adopt the series of suppression resistance of the primary side to suppress resonance, and there is an error between the measured busbar phase voltage and the actual voltage. However, the existing active voltage suppression method needs measuring the three-phase voltage and the neutral point voltage of the system, and the fault phase voltage is suppressed by controlling the neutral point voltage to reach the purpose of arc suppression. However, the measurement of fault phase voltage is affected by the primary harmonic resistance. Therefore, the primary harmonic suppression resistance can not only affect the measured data of the three-phase voltage of the bus,but also the arc suppression effect of the active voltage arc suppression device.Based on the analysis of the principle of primary harmonic suppression resistance and active voltage arc suppression, the mechanism of the influence of primary harmonic suppression resistance on the active voltage arc suppression is studied in this paper, and a kind of calculation method of active voltage arc suppression for line voltage measurement is proposed. The simulation model is set up in Matlab/Simulink to simulate and analyze the method. At the same time, the real fault simulation is performed in actual substation is performed. The simulation and actual results shows perfect arc suppression effect, thus the effectiveness of the method is verified.
