Technical Comparison of Active Intervention Arc Suppression Device for 10 kV Distribution Network Under Different Grounding Modes
The active intervention arc suppression device is installed inside the substation in order to improve the single-phase grounding fault handling capability of distribution network. However, the operation status and fault handling ability of the active intervention arc suppression device under different wiring modes are slightly different. In this paper, the misoperation resistance performance, non in-phase grounding short circuit response performance, risk of potential rise around the grounding body, arc extinguishing ability, operation time, and anti ferromagnetic resonance ability of active intervention arc suppression devices under different grounding methods are compared, and the corresponding suggestions in terms of modification of wiring mode of substation and selection of active intervention arc suppression device are proposed. It provides certain theoretical basis for the selection of the intervention arc suppression device and has a certain actual engineering value.
