An Experimental Study of the Interface between Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education and Overseas Chinese Language Syllabus——The Case of Tonga
With the increasing rise of Regional and Country-Specific Chinese education,more and more countries begin incorporating Chinese language into their national education systems.The release of the Chinese Proficiency Grading Standards for International Chinese Language Education(hereinafter referred to as The Grading Standards)provides a multi-dimensional reference for Chinese education around the world.This paper takes Tonga's Chinese Language Syllabus&Prescription(Tonga's Syllabus)as an example to explore the interface of the two standards,which should provide reference for the localized application,and also for the formulation or revision of Chinese language teaching syllabus in other countries as well.
