China-Spain Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations in the Perspective of Public Diplomacy
Public diplomacy is of great significance in today's era of globalization,consisting of a way to promote international cooperation and an embodiment of a country's comprehensive soft power.In recent years,public diplomacy plays a key role in foreign promotion and overseas dissemination of Chinese discourse.Spain maintains close cooperation and exchanges with China in political,economic and cultural fields.At present,it is necessary to re-examine the mutual learning among civilizations between the two sides in the field of people-to-people exchanges.Based on the three historical periods in the development of Sino-Spanish relations,this paper discusses China-Spain exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations in the perspective of public diplomacy.
