Experimental Study on Creep-Fatigue Interaction Behavior of Steel P91 for Power Plant Boilers
Experimental tests were performed on creep-fatigue interaction behavior of P91 base metal and its welding joint for power plant boilers. Based on analysis of the test results and by making use of improved Map-Ductility Exhaustion approach, the interaction behavior of steel P91 and its life estimation method are obtained. Test results show that the creep-fatigue interaction behavior of steel P91 is of the negative type, and the fatigue factor can be neglected in estimating the life of steel P91 in case it is used as power plant boiler components.
