Overview of multivariate electrochemical energy storage technologies
In the context of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality,the world is developing wind power,photovoltaic and other new energy on a large scale. However,they are inherent intermittent and their applications need to be combined with high-performance and low-cost energy storage systems. Electrochemical energy storage technology has the advantages of high energy density,high efficiency conversion,long cycle life,green environmental protection,portability and so on,in line with the current requirements for energy storage,and is widely used in renewable energy storage,electric vehicles,microelectronics products and future smart grid. In order to study the development prospect of electrochemical energy storage technology,here we compare the electrochemical energy storage technology with traditional energy storage methods,highlight the advantages of electrochemical energy storage technology;detailly introduce the basic composition units of electrochemical energy storage system;summarize the electrochemical energy storage system including lithium ion battery,lithium sulfur battery,sodium ion battery and potassium ion battery and introduce their positive and negative electrode materials,electrolyte,diaphragm and working principle,and clarify the current problems and reasonable solutions. Combined with the analysis of the current research status in the field of electrochemical energy storage technology,the basic principles,the advantages and disadvantages,and potential application prospects of various electrochemical energy storage technologies,here we aim to provide reference for electrochemical energy storage system,materials and applications,and also provide reference for the development of electrochemical energy storage technology.
