Study on Policies of Distributed Wind Power Generation in USA and Some Implications
Distributed wind power generation was initiated early in USA and great achievements have been made in distributed wind power generation technologies and the market share. One of the key factors for the rapid development of distributed wind power generation in USA is that the government has made a series of supporting policies. Based on a detail study of the USA policies and regulations for distributed wind power generation, an in-depth analysis is made in this paper on the policies in financial incentives, financing assistance, technological support, on-grid, industrial standard and rules. The successful experience of USA in distributed wind power can be a useful reference for promoting distributed power generation in China.
