Impacts of Implementation of Household Step Tariff on Power Supply Enterprises and Measures
The NDRC＇s decision to introduce the stepped price for the residential electricity consumpnon has arousea widespread attention in China＇s society and will also set new requirements on power supply companies. Based on interpretations of the new policy, this study preliminarily analyzes possible impacts of the policy on the power supply companies in terms of the metering system, metering reading management, accounting management, system operation and business operation management and puts forward some technical and managerial measures for power supplies companies to respond to the possible changes.
