Preliminary Study on Economical Operation and Evaluation Management in Goupitan Hydropower Station
Based on the case study of the Goupitan Hydropower Station, this paper studies measures to be taken for the economical operation of a hydropower station from the aspects of optimal dispatch of cascade power stations, economical operation and the operation evaluation for a particular station. Through decomposition of the main factors which affect the main indexes such as the water consumption rate for power generation, capacity factor of power water, composite output factor, loads during water abandonments and the increase rate of hydro energy utilization. The paper establishes some comprehensive indexes which can better reflect the economical operation of a hydropower station, and builds an index evaluation system. Applications of the new indexes and the evaluation system in the hydropower stations are analyzed in the hope to provide useful reference for the improvement of economical operation for large-scale hydropower stations.
