Observation and Thinking on New Energy Industry in the Eastern Coastal Areas of China
In view of the fact that the new energy industry has gained rapid growth in the eastern coastal areas of China since the ＂Eleventh Five-Year Plan＂ period （2006-2010）, this study presents recommendations for future development based on observation and analysis of the status quo of the new energy develpment in the areas. It concludes that a huge industry scale of hundreds of billions of yuan can be expected to build up provided that the current opportunity is seized and the market is fostered with proper guidance and backup from the government, thus bringing about a strong boost to the economy of the eastern coastal areas.
