Analysis on the Operation Status of Northwest Transmission Grid in 2010
The Northwest Grid in 2010 was at the stage of deepening transition and it had a profound change in character. This paper introduces the operation status of the Northwest Grid in 2010 in terms of tower structure, generation structure, dispatching load, trans-regional and trans-provincial electricity, valley-to-peak demands, transmission loss rate, transformer capacity-to-load ratio and short-circuit current level. According to such problems as restricted output of generators, increasing difficulties of grid operation control, the paper puts forward some suggestions such as stepping up execution of energy-saving dispatching mode of systems, keeping on necessary grid investment intensity, unified power grid and power source planning, which can be used as a reference for promoting construction of the energy base in northwest region.
