Analysis on New Trends of Power Reform in Japan after Fukushima Nuclear Accident
The Japan earthquakes and Fukushima nuclear accident lead to a shortage of electricity supply, and the afterward power rationing has great impacts on the Japanese people's living and production. Under the pressure of public opinion, the Japanese government has put forward a framework for a new round of electricity reform, which will further introduce market mechanisms, promote the demand side response and diversified development of the power supply, and will separate the power generation and power grid business, so as to provide a fair environment for market competition. An analysis is made in this paper on the background and the thinking framework of Japan's electric power system reform, which will provide a reference for China' s electric power system reform.
