Research on Impacts of Technical Route Adjustment on Cost of Power Grid Project During "the 11^th Five-Year Plan" Period
Taking into account the actual conditions of the construction of power transmission & transformation projects in "the 11^th Five-year Plan" period and starting from an in-depth statistical analysis of the cost of hundreds of power grid projects, this paper studies what impacts the adjustment of the technical routine exerted on the construction cost of power grid projects over the period of "the 11^th Five-year Plan". The impacts were discussed specifically in relation to the application of large-capacity transformers, the number of substations with multiple transformers in one construction phase, the scale of the feeding-out at the high voltage side, the number of GIS substation projects, the number of indoor stations, substation construction area occupancy per unit capacity, control building area for average single-substation capacity, and application of large cross-section conductors, double circuit transmission lines, steel towers (poles) and high-strength steel application.
