Suggestions on Energy Consumption Control Policy Responding to the Economic Growth Uncertainty
It is of great significance to China to keep the total energy consumption within a reasonable level in attaining balance of energy, economy and environment and achieving sustainable development in China. This paper briefly explains the necessity of energy consumption control and explores the three routes to successful control, which include optimization of the industry structure, upgrading of the energy production and transformation of the energy utilization modes. Corresponding policies and proposals are presented on achieving the goal of total energy consumption control based on the economic growth uncertainty.
