Degradation of rhodamine B by peroxymonosulfate using CoFe2O4/ZIF-9 as catalyst
Magnetic CoFe2O4/ZIF-9 composites were successfully synthesized by co-precipitation method. The catalytic activity of CoFe2O4/ZIF-9 to peroxymonosulfate was evaluated with rhodamine B as model of contaminant. The results of catalyst selection showed that the optimum ratio of CoFe2O4 to ZIF-9 was 1∶5.The results showed that the removal rate of rhodamine B with 100 mg/L PMS and 50 mg/L catalyst was 99.7%within 20 min.The prepared CoFe2O4/ZIF-9 composite was a type of efficient and excellent catalyst for remediation of water pollution due to its advantages,e.g.,simple preparation, high catalytic activity, reusable and easy recovery.
