Preparation and adsorption property of alkalized MXene adsorbent
Ti3C2Tx(Mxene)was prepared using LiF and HCl as etchants, and hydroxyl terminal-modulated alkalizing MXene(alk-MXene)adsorbent was prepared by alkalization treatment of NaOH.The as-prepared adsorbent was characterized by X ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and X ray photoelectron spectroscopy. The experimental results showed that alk-MXenes with different content of surface—OH group were obtained by the control of different alkalization concentration and time, and their adsorption effect was also different. The results of FT-IR showed that the surface—OH group was the adsorption site that had an effect on the adsorption capacity. When the concentration of alkalization was 3 mol/L and the time of alkalization was 1 h,the surface of alk-MXene had the highest content of—OH group, with the highest adsorption capacity, and the adsorption capacity of methylene blue could reach 95.3 mg/g.
