Simulation and experiment of casting process for spherical graphite iron gearbox of high speed train
The casting filling process and temperature field distribution of spherical graphite iron gearbox casting of high-speed train were numerically simulated by computer numerical simulation technology.Based on the comprehensive consideration of the graphitization expansion, inoculation treatment, the decline of spheroidizing agent and the influence of mold stiffness in the solidification process of nodular cast iron,a reasonable pouring process of riser free casting was designed.Through the field pouring experiment, the strength, plasticity and low-temperature impact performance of the produced gearbox could meet the acceptance standards. The low-temperature impact performance of-40 ℃ could meet the value required by the low-temperature impact standard of-20 ℃.The requirements of localization of motor train unit gearbox are met.
