Due to the current situation where research on high-speed gearbox only considers motor torque load or simplified vibration conditions.In this paper,a domestic high-speed gearbox was studied.Through the a-nalysis of the load condition of axle suspended gearbox,the load cases are determined for strength calculation of gearbox based on vibration load.By using finite element software,the strength analysis for the box bodyof certain rail gearbox is analyzed,and the results are evaluated according to the relevant railway standards.The results indicate that the gearbox can withstand both the torque load under traction/braking conditions and the vibration load generated by line excitation during the designed life cycle.The stress amplitude is smaller than the promised stress amplitude.Thus,the fatigue strength of the box meets the allowable requirements.In this study,all working conditions were calculated during the strength analysis of the gearbox,which ensured the reliability of the gearbox design and provided a method for the strength analysis and evaluation of the gearbox of urban rail and high-speed rail.
