Probabilistic Assessment Method for Distributed PV Hosting Capability of Distribution Network Considering Active Feeder Reconfiguration
To assess and further effectively enhance the distributed photovoltaic(PV)hosting capability of distribution network,a probabilistic assessment method for the distributed PV hosting capability of distribution network considering active feeder reconfiguration is proposed in this paper.First, the distributed PV hosting capability of distribution net-work is defined, and an optimization problem is formulated with the maximization of distributed PV hosting capability of distribution network as the objective, which is achieved through dynamic optimization and reconfiguration of the net-work topology.Second,to account for the stochastic nature of distributed PV output and its impact on the distributed PV hosting capability of distribution network, the maximum value of distributed PV hosting capability of distribution net-work is computed using the chance constraint method with the voltage deviation at distribution network nodes as a chance constraint.Third,a hybrid computational approach that combines genetic algorithms and linear programming is proposed to efficiently solve the optimization problem. Finally, the proposed method is validated through simulations us-ing an IEEE 33-node distribution system as an example, and results demonstrate that the proposed approach can effec-tively enhance the distributed PV hosting capability of distribution network through active feeder reconfiguration.
