Corrosion Research and Oxygen Content Control of"Dead-end Pipe Effect"in Pressurized Water Reactor Nuclear Power Plant
The phenomenon of"dead-end pipe"exists in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants that use the M310 reactor type internationally. This phenomenon can lead to serious corrosion of the inner wall of the pipeline and valve components, threatening the safe and stable operation of the unit. This article analyzes the causes of severe corrosion caused by the"dead-end effect"in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, studies its corrosion phenomenon, and develops an ultrasonic testing scheme for severe corrosion caused by its internal oxygen content to ensure that there is no oxygen in the"dead-end pipe"and avoid serious equipment corrosion. This provides an empirical reference for nuclear power plants of the same type and similar types with"dead-end effect".
