Analysis of the Impact of DC Transmission Technology on Power System Stability
This article explores the Application of High Voltage Direct Current(HVDC)technology in global power systems and its impact on system stability.The article first outlines the classification of power system stability,including rotor angle stability,frequency stability,and voltage stability,and introduces the two main types of DC transmission technology-line converters and voltage source converters.Subsequently,the article analyzed the positive impact of HVDC technology on the dynamic and static stability of power systems,including its key role in system interconnection,renewable energy integration,island model operation,and system recovery.Research has shown that HVDC technology plays a crucial role in promoting power system stability and sustainable development.
