Research on Long Distance Protection Scheme for Main Transformer
This article explores the protection of the main transformer in special scenarios where there is a long distance between the layout of the main transformer,primary equipment on each side,and secondary equipment.Starting from the selection and calculation of current transformers,combined with the secondary wiring characteristics of fiber optic current differential protection for transmission lines,a comprehensive analysis was conducted on the long-distance protection of the main transformer.The fast protection,backup protection,and protection range of the long-distance protection scheme for the main transformer can replace typical schemes,and there will be no particularly rare parameter requirements for the selection of current transformers.Flexible combination of mature protection equipment on the market,adjusting the secondary winding of current transformers and the secondary wiring of protection devices,can effectively solve the configuration problem of main transformer protection in long-distance special scenarios.
