Analysis and Treatment of the Causes of Over Temperature in the Intermediate Pressure Cylinder of an Ultra Supercritical 1050?MW Unit
This article introduces the situation of over temperature in the inlet chamber of the intermediate pressure cylinder of the ultra supercritical 1050 MW unit, and provides a detailed introduction to the power plant's use of the A-level maintenance opportunity to disassemble and inspect the intermediate pressure cylinder. It was found that the inner cylinder, baffle sleeve, and baffle were deformed in multiple places, and there were signs of collision and wear on the flow components.Subsequently, the first stage baffle was returned to the factory to add tangential swirl cooling holes, and the baffle sleeve and baffle were processed, and the flow clearance was adjusted. After the maintenance of the unit was completed and started, the problem of overheating of the intermediate pressure cylinder was effectively solved, and the efficiency of the intermediate pressure cylinder was also restored.
