Under the background that the concept of ecological environmental protection and sustainable development is deeply rooted in people's minds,the operation and management of thermal power plants,as the main power production units,are facing new challenges and requirements.This paper explores the architecture and technical points of intelligent control system in thermal power plant,analyzes the application value of intelligent control system in thermal power plant,expounds the basic functions of monitoring layer,control layer and execution layer in the architecture,and discusses the application points of key technologies such as data acquisition,operation monitoring and fault diagnosis,intelligent scheduling.
