Research on AC Resistance Testing of Large Cross Sectional Conductors
Conductor AC resistance testing is one of the important links in the operation and maintenance of power systems.With the continuous development of the power system and the increase of power load,the use of large cross-section conductors is becoming increasingly common.However,due to the presence of conductor skin effect and proximity effect,the resistance of the conductor under alternating current will increase,which has a certain impact on the stable operation and safety of the power system.The article introduces the principles and influencing factors of conductor skin effect and proximity effect,analyzes the factors affecting AC resistance,elaborates on various methods for testing AC resistance of large cross-section conductors,and analyzes the principles,steps,and advantages and disadvantages of each method.
