This article explores different types of optimization methods for energy storage participating in power dispatch optimization,including deterministic optimization methods,stochastic optimization methods,and intelligent optimization methods.The effectiveness and superiority of the energy storage based power dispatch model have been verified through case analysis.Compared to traditional scheduling methods,the participation of energy storage can significantly improve system economy,renewable energy consumption level,and grid flexibility.To promote the participation of energy storage in power dispatch,this article proposes policy recommendations such as increasing investment in energy storage technology research and development,improving electricity pricing mechanisms and subsidy policies,establishing and improving industry standards and norms,providing reference for promoting the development of the energy storage industry and low-carbon transformation of the power system.
