To improve the stability of hybrid cascaded DC transmission lines,this article proposes a longitudinal protection model for hybrid cascaded transmission lines based on grid converter modular multilevel converter.The experimental results show that the protection model has good performance in maintaining the stability of the transmission system and diagnosing faults,and has a good protective effect on hybrid cascaded transmission lines.
