Research on the Installation of Double Split Conductor Phase to Phase Spacers with Live Wires and Analysis of Their Anti Dancing Effect
Under adverse weather conditions such as strong winds,hail,etc.,transmission lines,especially split conductors,are prone to dancing,which not only seriously threatens the safe operation of the power grid,but may also cause serious consequences such as wire breakage,hardware wear,and tower damage.Therefore,exploring effective anti dancing measures has become one of the hot topics in the current research of the power industry.As a new type of anti dancing technology,the installation of double split interphase spacers with electricity has significant anti dancing effects,good economy,and applicability.The article analyzes the causes of multiple dancing accidents on a 220 kV transmission line located in mountainous areas from the perspectives of terrain,meteorological conditions,and the characteristics of transmission lines.Based on the characteristics of transmission lines and current anti dancing experience,simple and feasible anti dancing measures are proposed,aiming to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of dancing on transmission lines and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
