Research and Analysis of Fault Location Method for Low-voltage Distribution Network Based on the Characteristic of Full Current Direction
A large number of flexible loads are connected to the low-voltage distribution network, which makes the distribution power flow complex, the signal distortion is serious, the overcurrent characteristics are weak, and the fault characteristics are not obvious. The fault location scheme based on the power frequency signal is no longer applicable. In this paper, the fault criterion is improved by using the effective value of the full current wave and the phase of the fault current, and a new fitness function expression is constructed. Then a hierarchical dimension reduction analysis model for the fault location of the low-voltage distribution network is built. Finally, the fault location method of the low-voltage distribution network based on the characteristics of the full current direction is obtained and verified by simulation. The results show that the method can identify and judge the fault information quickly and accurately without being disturbed by the distorted information.
