新型低损耗空芯反谐振光纤的设计制造与行业应用展望

空芯反谐振光纤(hollow core anti-resonant fiber,HC-ARF)可突破实芯石英光纤因材料缺陷存在的本征限制而达到更低的传输损耗和时延,是当前新型通信光纤的研究热点.文章阐述了空芯反谐振光纤的导光机理、设计制备、传输特性测试,并探讨了空芯光纤走向实际工程应用存在的挑战以及下一步的研究方向.面向电力低时延、超长距、通信传感一体化等业务场景需求,低损耗低时延的空芯反谐振光纤将有广阔的应用前景.文章的研究为空芯光纤在电力行业的应用提供了参考和借鉴.
Design and Industry Application Prospect of a Novel Low-loss HC-ARF
Hollow-core anti-resonant fiber(HC-ARF)can break through the intrinsic limitation of solid quartz fiber due to material defects and achieve lower transmission loss and delay,which is the research focus of novel communication fiber.In this paper,the light conduction mechanism,design and manufacture,transmission characteristics test research of HC-ARF are described.The challenges of HC-ARF in practical engineering application and the next research directions are discussed.For the requirements of power communication service scenarios including low time delay,ultra-long distance and communication sensor integration,low-loss and low-delay HC-ARF will have broad application prospects.The research of HC-ARF presented in this paper provides reference value and reference for the application of power industry.
