Spatiotemporal Difference and Influencing Factors of Land Use Efficiency of Counties in China
The super efficiency SBM model,Malmquist index,Tobit model and other methods were adopted to analyze the spatial and temporal differences and influencing factors of land use efficiency of counties in China.The findings are as follows.① Dur-ing the study period,the average land use efficiency of counties in China showed a W-shaped fluctuation upward trend.On the whole,the average land use efficiency of China s counties was the largest in the eastern region,followed by the central region,and the smallest in the western region.However,the gap between the eastern region and the central region was narrowing,while the gap between the western region and the eastern and central regions was expanding.② During the study period,the total fac-tor productivity of land use in China's counties was greater than 1,the average annual growth rate was 3.4％.The improvement of county land use efficiency is mainly due to technological progress.③ County urbanization level,county economic development level,county construction land scale and industrial structure upgrading can effectively promote the improvement of county land use efficiency.The level of transportation facilities and local financial pressure have a significant inhibitory effect on the land use efficiency of counties in China,but the influence of various factors on each region is heterogeneous.Based on this,policy sugges-tions are put forward that we should innovate the urban and rural land use system,optimize the allocation of construction land and the land supply structure,optimize the industrial structure according to local conditions,improve the county infrastructure,promote the county economy and county urbanization development,so as to improve the comprehensive benefit of land use of counties,and then promote the land use efficiency of counties in China.
