Spatial Differentiation and Influence Mechanism of County High-Quality Development Level from the Perspective of Main Functions:A Case Study of the Former Central Soviet Area in Jiangxi,Fujian and Guangdong
Promoting the revitalization and development of revolutionary old areas is an important path to promote regional coor-dinated development in China,especially in response to the increasingly differentiated high-quality development within revolu-tionary old areas.This paper constructs an indicator system suitable for high-quality development in revolutionary old areas from the perspective of the main functional area.Taking the former Central Soviet Area in Jiangxi,Fujian,and Guangdong as an ex-ample,the paper adopts entropy method,spatial econometric model,and other methods to study the spatial differentiation char-acteristics and influence mechanism of high-quality development levels in counties.It is found as follows.① In terms of spatial pattern,the overall level of high-quality development of the counties in the former Central Soviet Area is relatively low,presen-ting a spatial characteristic of"core-edge".The provincial border areas have formed a"collapse zone"of high-quality develop-ment,and the regional imbalance of economic development,ecological civilization and internal and external openness is signifi-cant.② From the perspective of the main functional areas,the level of high-quality development of different types of areas is shown as key development areas＞main production areas of agricultural product＞key ecological functional areas,and the main function orientation is closely related to each dominant dimension.③ In terms of influencing factors,the high-quality develop-ment of the former Central Soviet Area is influenced by multidimensional factors led by human capital and economic openness.Economic openness is a common driving factor for the high-quality development of various main functional areas.Key develop-ment areas and main production areas of agricultural product are both promoted by human capital,while fiscal policies have not promoted the high-quality development of the main production areas of agricultural product and key ecological functional areas in counties.This study has certain theoretical and practical significance in promoting the revitalization and development of revo-lutionary old areas,especially in building a high-quality national spatial development pattern.
