Mechanism and Path of Ecotourism Empowering Harmonious and Beautiful Countryside to Enhance Residents'Happiness:A Case Study of Zhangjiajie
Ecotourism empowering harmonious and beautiful countrysides is conducive to enhancing residents'happiness.On the basis of defining the connotation of harmonious and beautiful countrysides and clarifying the internal mechanism of enhancing residents'happiness through ecotourism empowering harmonious and beautiful countrysides,this paper explores the implementation path of ecotourism empowering harmonious and beautiful countrysides to enhance residents'happiness in Zhangjiajie from 2000 to 2022 using entropy method,Granger causality test,structural equation modeling and obstacle degree model.It is found as follows.① From 2000 to 2022,the overall development levels of harmonious and beautiful countrysides and residents'happiness in Zhangjiajie showed increasing trend.The evaluation value of harmonious and beautiful countrysides increased from 0.029 in 2000 to 0.852 in 2022,and the evaluation value of residents'happiness increased from 0.181 in 2000 to 0.738 in 2022.② There is a long-term stable equilibrium relationship between harmonious and beautiful countryside and residents'happiness,and harmonious and beautiful countrysides is the one-way Granger reason for residents'happiness.Ecotourism can significantly improve the residents'happiness through employment growth,industrial upgrading,urban-rural integration empowering harmonious and beautiful countrysides.③ In terms of obstacle degree,the main obstacle factors to harmonious and beautiful countrysides are effective governance and rural civilization,with the average obstacle degrees of 39.25％and 25.33％,respectively.The main obstacle factor to residents'happiness is development,and the average obstacle degree is 30.92％.④ The implementation path of ecotourism empowering harmonious and beautiful countrysides to enhance residents'happiness is proposed as follows:the first is to coordinate the elements of rural ecological resources and enhance the absorption capacity of rural employment;the second is to promote the integrated development of agriculture and tourism and realize industrial transformation and upgrading;and the third is to build an ecotourism cooperation platform and promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas.
