Mind Travel and Korean Literati's Imagination of Chinese Literary Scenes
The mind travel activities of Korean literati,which are based on Chinese literary scenes,have erected a bridge between texts and imagination,as well as between images and real landscapes.This is an acceptance phenomenon that cannot be overlooked in the overseas dissemination of Chinese literature.By means of"mind travel through paintings","mind travel through writing"and"mind travel through scenery",Korean literati have not only achieved self-entertainment as a substitute for on-site travels but also reached a high degree of congruence and creative transcendence with Chinese literature and its artistic spirit on a spiritual level.The progression from texts to paintings and then to the representation of real scene spaces fully showcases the interweaving and convergence of Chinese literature with other art forms on the ancient Korean Peninsula,from which the commonalities of East Asian culture have emerged.
