Analysis of Testing Data and Performance Optimization of Modified Polypropylene Cable Protection Tube for Non Excavation Use
Based on the experimental results of non-excavation modified polypropylene(MPP)plastic cable pro-tection pipes, the relative differences between the various detection indicators of the protection pipes and the stan-dard requirements were calculated.Based on this, the quality control of MPP protection pipes and the optimiza-tion measures required by existing standards were analyzed and studied. The results show that the current produc-tion technology can basically meet the requirements of the standard for the wall thickness, ring stiffness, out of roundness, and external impact resistance of MPP protective pipes. At the same time, analysis indicates that when the application scenario has higher requirements for the mechanical properties of protective pipes, the corre-sponding performance can be improved by moderately increasing the wall thickness of protective pipes. In response to the low compliance rate of the maximum inner diameter size and Vicat softening temperature of the protective tube in the experimental detection results,in addition to further optimizing the composition ratio and preparation process of the protective tube, moderately relaxing the requirements for the upper limit of the maximum inner di-ameter size of MPP protective tube in the standard may be a feasible method to optimize the existing standards and improve the performance of the protective tube.
