Structural Damage Detection Method of Ultra-deep Electric Well of Power Tunnel Based On High Frequency Ground Penetrating Radar
Ultra-deep electric power wells of power cable in soft soil areas are subjected to large soil and water pressures and loads, and after long-term service, various damages such as deformation, cracks, seepage and wa-ter leakage often occur. However, electric power wells are faced with unfavorable factors such as complex soil and water environment and electromagnetic interference, and it is difficult to detect structural damages early by nor-mal inspection methods. Therefore, the normal service of the structure and the safety of the structure have brought great challenges.Taking the No.1 working well of cross-river tunnel of Yangshupu Power Plant in Shanghai as the research object, the high-frequency ground penetrating radar(GPR)developed by Tongji Univer-sity was used to conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection on the long-term leakage of the structure,de-noising and analyzing the radar data, and analyzing the causes of the structural diseases as well as the subsequent plugging and repair measures. The use of high frequency GPR can better capture the cavity and groundwater distri-bution of underground structure, which points out the direction for later maintenance, and can provide reference for similar structural damage detection in the future.
