Integrated Energy System Energy Station Planning Considering Time-Adjustable Energy Consumption Features of Data Centers
With the advent of the digital age,the scale of data centers continues to expand,and the energy con-sumption increases rapidly.Under the background of integrated energy system,how to scientifically and effec-tively use the adjustable characteristics of data center energy consumption time,improve the utilization rate of equipment and optimize the allocation of resources has become a problem that needs to be further studied.Based on the multi-energy conversion complementarity of electricity/gas/heat/cold and the deep coupling of energy flow and data flow,an energy station planning method of integrated energy system considering the time-adjustable characteristics of energy consumption in data centers is proposed.The capacity of energy equipment in the station and the number of data center servers are coordinated planning with the goal of minimum annual comprehensive cost.Four different scenarios are set for comparative analysis according to whether to consider the adjustable fea-ture of the energy consumption time of the data center and whether to recover the waste heat generated by the data center.An example is given to verify the positive effect of considering the adjustable feature of data center energy consumption time in improving equipment utilization and reducing investment cost and purchasing cost.
