Analysis and Handling of Line Protection Maloperations Caused by Distribution Network Excitation Inrush Current
In recent years,occasional instances of line protection maloperation caused by distribution network ex-citation inrush currents during the process of restoring power supply have been observed.This paper summarizes and analyzes accidents caused by excitation inrush currents over the years,explores the fundamental principles and characteristics of excitation inrush,identifies methods for recognizing and judging excitation inrush,and proposes accident handling procedures and solutions to prevent line protection maloperation caused by distribution network excitation inrush currents.
