Research on Improvement of Overvoltage Measurement Method Based on Capacitive Voltage Transformer
Capacitive Voltage Transformers(CVTs)have limitations in transient characteristics, and direct mea-surement of overvoltages is susceptible to electromagnetic interference, which restricts accurate monitoring of voltage at various nodes in the system and precise collection of transient overvoltage waveform data.To address this problem,an improved method is proposed by integrating a wide-band sensor into existing CVTs.This device enhances the frequency range for capturing transient overvoltages, improves response speed and sampling rate, and ensures stable system operation. As a result,it significantly enhances the accuracy of measurement data and facilitates deeper analysis of power quality. To validate the inaccuracy of directly measuring overvoltage data with CVTs,this study employs a series voltage division method and constructs a CVT simulation model.Simulation analysis using the improved CVT model is conducted, and a test platform is set up for experimental verification. The test results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed improvement approach.
