With the rapid development of smart grids,the demand for live working operations is increasing.Live working robots effectively address the challenges associated with manual live working operations.This paper briefly outlines the development history of live working robots,describes the module composition,corresponding functionalities,and technical advantages of modern live working robots in distribution networks.It also explores their application methods in different scenarios.By summarizing the current status of live working robots in distri-bution networks,the paper presents future directions and prospects for development.
