Optimization Design Method for Cable Harness Cross-Section Layout Based on Gradient Descent Continuous Optimization Algorithm
This paper addresses the optimization of cable harness cross-sectional layout by transforming the prob-lem into a physical model of non-equal circle packing.A gradient descent-based continuous optimization method is proposed for the design and simulation verification of flexible cable harness cross-sectional layout.By introducing the potential energy function U(X)of the layout X,the gradient descent method converges the initial layout to a locally optimal layout,achieving a local optimum solution.Testing and verification on cable harness ex-amples demonstrate that this method performs well in solving cross-sectional layout problems.It provides nearly optimal layout solutions for different quantities and shapes of circles,with high efficiency,flexibility,and robust-ness.
