Diagnosis and Treatment of a 110 kV Main Transformer Bushing Oil Leakage Fault
This paper discusses an incident where infrared and partial discharge detection methods were used to identify an oil leakage defect in a 110 kV main transformer bushing.Through structural analysis and disassembly inspection,it was concluded that the cause of the oil leakage was due to a mismatch between the length of the oil plug bolt and the oil inlet on the bushing. This provides recommendations for factory acceptance and operational maintenance of similar bushings.
