Life prediction and sensitivity analysis of reinforced concrete beams after corrosion and fatigue damage
In order to investigate the long-term performance of reinforced concrete beams after corrosion and fatigue,a calculation model for the long-term performance of reinforced concrete beams with initial damage was established based on the tests. The limit state equation of reinforced concrete beam after corrosion and fa-tigue damage was established based on the model.Monte Carlo Simulation was used to study the time-varying reliability of the long-term performance of the beam, and the life prediction was conducted. The critical serv-ice condition of the test beam to meet the 100 a service life was studied. The results show that corrosion and fatigue can seriously weaken the long-term performance of reinforced concrete beams, and the long-term per-formance of beams with only 4%corrosion rate and 15%fatigue damage cannot meet the service require-ments.Increasing the cross-sectional area and cross-sectional height of the steel bar can effectively improve the long-term performance of the beam.Increasing the section width of the beam can only improve the long-term performance of the beam with small initial damage.
