Efficiency optimization control of permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system based on variable carrier frequency
To reduce the loss of a permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)drive system and improve the system efficiency,a variable carrier frequency optimization control method based on the bus current feed-back was proposed.Firstly,the mathematical model of the system loss was established,and the relationship between the carrier frequency and the system loss was studied.Then,to solve the problem that off-line optimi-zation method was sensitive to the parameters,an online carrier frequency optimization method based on the bus current feedback was designed.The results show that under different speed and load conditions,there is an optimal carrier frequency that minimizes the system loss,and it changes with the change of the speed and the load.At each operating point,the loss calculated by the loss model is basically consistent with the actual loss.The online optimization method can achieve loss optimization of about 0.6%at medium or high load,and can achieve loss optimization when the load varies.
