Measurement and non-stationary characteristics analysis of near-ground wind field below 10 m height in hilly regions
To determine wind characteristics below 10 m height to guide the structural design of photovoltaic support, the near-ground wind field measurement was conducted in a proposed photovoltaic power station loca-ted in Hanzhong,Shaanxi Province.Due to the large low-frequency energy in the measured results, the sta-tionary model and the non-stationary model based on discrete wavelet transform were used, respectively. The wind characteristics such as the mean wind, the turbulence intensity, the gust factor, the integral length scale and the wind speed spectrum of the near-ground wind field below 10 m height were studied and compared with the standard values in code. The results show that the near-ground wind field below 10 m height in hilly re-gions has non-stationary characteristics. The stationary model overestimates the turbulence intensity and the in-tegral length scale. The non-stationary model can extract the time-varying mean wind and improve the stability of the samples. The energy density of the high-frequency part prone to resonance with the photovoltaic struc-ture increases. The energy in the high-frequency part is similar to those of Kaimal and von Karman spectrum, which is higher than that of the stationary model and more applicable.
