Design and Implementation of Emergency Software Based on Android
With the development of the society, there always exists various unstable factors which threat the personal and property safety. Part of the reason is due to the lack of the awareness and methods with self-help. For example, women and other vulnerable groups need a quick method of help when confronting robbery and some other emergencies. This emergency software mainly includes three modules: GPS positioning module, group-texting module and the module of flash signal for help. The system has been coded and developed with Eclipse based on Android SDK and has been tested on the intelligent mobile phone with Android system. It can obtain the position information and mass it for help. Besides, it can also send a distress signal using a flash lamp. The software helps users of intelligent mobile phone in emergency help a lot.
