PHP is a popular WEB application development technology,and the regular expression as a string pattern matching provides an efficient and convenient way. Through the regular expression,able to verify the user submits the simple,flexible string whether meet the requirements of regulations. This paper first introduces the basic concepts of regular expressions,and then to PREL compatible syntax of regular expressions and important function,finally discusses the regular expression in the PHP program based on examples of application of string matching check.
