Excavation of Six Dynasties Kilns and Song Burials at Life and Health Industrial Park(Phase Ⅱ)in Danyang,Jiangsu Province
From April to May 2022,Zhenjiang Museum carried out archaeological excavations at the Danyang Life and Health Industrial Park(Phase II),revealing 3 kiln sites from the Six Dynasties and 8 tombs from the Song Dynasty.Artifacts including Song Dynasty Huzhou mirrors,hair pins,bronze coins,and glazed pottery bottles were unearthed.The burial layout suggests that it is a family cemetery.The excava-tions provide material evidence for the study of the Six Dynasties kilns as well as Song Dynasty funeral cus-toms and social economy in the Zhenjiang area.
