A Discussion on the Buddhist Relics from the Three Kingdoms and Jin Periods Discovered in Jiangxi
Jiangxi holds a significant position in the history of Buddhist dissemination and development in China.By examining the Buddhist relics from the Three Kingdoms and Jin periods discovered in Jiangxi in recent years,and reviewing related historical documents,this study explores the early dissemination routes and processes of Buddhism in Jiangxi.It is concluded that Buddhism is likely to have entered Jiangxi through the Southern Maritime Silk Road.The changes in the forms of Buddhist relics discovered in Jiangxi during the Three Kingdoms and Jin reflect the societal changes of Jiangxi,particularly evident in the prod-ucts of Hongzhou Kiln.
