Report on the Silver Hoard from Zhuanggangxicun Village,Zhuanggang Town,Junan County,Shandong Province
In 1980,a silver hoard was discovered in Zhuanggangxicun Village,Zhuanggang Town,Ju-nan County,Shandong province, yielding 22 artifacts. The hoard primarily consists of daily utensils such as yi (pouring vessel),zhan (cups),bo (large bowls),and wan (bowls),along with a single ornament. Comprehen-sive cataloging and measurement of these artifacts, along with an analysis of their forms and decorations,sug-gest that the hoard dates to the Southern Song dynasty. The reason for the hoarding is likely related to the"Red Jackets"uprising in the region.
